Reserve Your Dog’s Stay at Second Home Pet Resort for Upcoming Holidays
It may be April, but it’s not too early to start making plans for the upcoming spring and summertime holidays. Peak holidays such as Memorial Day weekend and July 4th are literally around the corner and will be here before you know it. Now is the time to book reservations for your pets if you plan to be out of town. Be sure that your pet has a reservation at Second Home Pet Resort, our mountainside resort that pets can’t get enough of.
For the peak holiday boarding dates, there is a minimum stay requirement that applies to any reservation where your pet stays at Second Home on the holidays you choose, including Memorial Day and July 4/Independence Day, and both require a minimum three-night stay. The holiday period also includes the nearest weekend.
Demand is very high during the peak holiday times and there is a non-refundable deposit equal to two nights (based on the suite type selected) that will be due, and your credit card will be charged at the time of booking. These dates do fill up fast, so be sure to make your boarding reservations early.
Our lobby is closed on all major holidays so please be sure to drop off and pick up your pet before our lobby closes for the major holidays. You can drop off your pet the day before the holiday and pick up the day after.
For pet parents who need to pick up pets earlier than our scheduled lobby opening or closing time, you can make special arrangements subject to the availability of our staff. Check our website for more details and pricing.

Get Your Dog Groomed at Second Home and Get a Discount
At Second Home Pet Resort we’re not just about boarding your pets in luxurious suites, exceptional play time, and wonderful cuddle sessions. We also have wonderful groomers who can style your pets to help make them look their best.
Salon and spa guests at Second Home get the full grooming treatment. They enjoy a stress-free experience in a cage-free environment as long as they get along with the other pets who are there. If not, they get to relax in one of the guest pet suites when their grooming is complete.
And because our groomers’ schedules fill up fast, you can receive a $2 discount off each groom when you book at the time of your current appointment.
You can choose from the Basic Bath & Brush Package, which includes a bath with two complete washes ensuring all the dirt comes off, blow dry, nail trimming/filing, ear cleaning/hair removal, and foot/sanitary/eye trimming/shaving upon request.
If you choose the Full Service Grooming, it includes everything from the Basic Bath & Brush Package as well as a full body trim to your specifications.
